Program Description:
Urban Plunge: Arlington/Baltimore

This trip looks at two very different parishes and cultures which are geographically close to one another. The first half of the week focuses on learning about the many ways Arlington parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace, puts faith into action in their rich commitment to social justice. The second half of the week, students get their hands dirty by assisting the Baltimore-based parishes of St. Edwards the Confessor and St. Gregory the Great with much needed maintenance and labor-intensive projects. Students also learn about the rich history of community-based social change.
